The Campsite

Situated amongst acres of well established forestry, the John Leitz Campsite is perfect for group or unit camping as well as back to basic camps.

The site comprises of two fields; the lower and upper fields.

The lower field is located close to the main building for convenient use of both. It comprises of a medium sized camping area and a fire circle. The fire circle and lower field are over looked by a small quarried rock face.

The upper field is a self contained field boasting its own toilet and shower block and is situated a bit further away from the main building. This field has the remains of some old alter fires, which it is hoped will be fully restored shortly.

Both sites allow great access to a variety of hikes and walks through the forest.
